About The R32 Registry
In 2004, Volkswagen brought an all wheel drive hatchback to North America - the R32. And with the end of the fourth generation bodystyle, it could be a
long time before Volkswagen brings another all wheel drive hatchback to North America.
Not since the Rallye Golf was produced in 1989 has Volkswagen had a car that created such buzz. But since the Rallye Golf never came to North America, the
R32 is the US's first taste of four wheel hatchback power.
The purpose of this registry is to document the ownership and distribution of the R32 across the US. With time, it's goal is to have all cars accounted for.

The staff at
VWvortex have compared the R32 to other like minded cars, and that
review can be viewed
here. But an even better
review of the US spec R32 was done by them, and that article is located
here.
A small photo gallery with images of stock R32's can be found
